We, however, know that these dark times are not unique and that "civilisation" went through various cycles of good and bad.
Do I ignore the fact that we, as a nation is in deep trouble; no, not at all. I, as a person resent most of our leaders today, as I believe that the vast majority of them is in this to gain and/or maintain power, with no two thoughts on the effect that they have or the effect of what they say; and from there it is all about taking what they want.
This is where the age old question is important; what are we (starting with myself) going to do about it?
How are we going to change the current culture of hatred, entitlement and self importance to a culture of mutual respect and dignity?
I'm sorry to say, but there is no political way out. Most of our leaders and politicians count under the most corrupt and criminal, with a justice system that protect the criminal, and criminalize the "law abiding citizen".
From where I'm standing the only way we are going to change things is to change the way people think.
We need a change of heart. We need to belief differently!
Our hearts need to submit to God - and there is no time left.
We need to replace our self-serving leaders with God fearing / loving leaders.
We need to become God fearing again!
Then things will change - we will act differently, because we think differently, and therefore we will have a different future.
Change starts from the inside! One person at a time - starting with you and me!
